Took my son Adam and his dog (Fast n Furious) to Dawdon on saturday.

(the dogs first proper meeting)and they really enjoyed it the dog ran well and adam was proud of him,

i couldnt get over how nice all the Whippet folk were to us

i hope myself and adam have many more days like that it was a pleasure to be there,

only down side was sue n kev's dogs tragic accident put a dampener on a really nice day

any way hope to have many more enjoyable days like that

only one problem could the commities ensure that the weather is a little warmer for this weekends racing at

Horden and Dawdon LOL

Steve Adam and Fast n furious

Ps once again sorry for sad loss Sue and kev

Not sure if i remember right but there was one year at horden that it snowed, blizzard like in the middle of the open, can't remember which open it was :D so you maybe need to dig your thermals out for next weekend :p  but us northern folk are supposed to be harder than our soft southern counterparts :clown: o:)

I remember that weekend, it was in April 2006 (Jessi won yearlings), we went to Maltby the next day and it was exactly the same, sunshine then blizzard, back to sunshine, then wind and rain. Mad !!!
