Hope everyone had a really great Xmas. I have just been catching up with all the news, as I have not been on here for months as I have never had a chance as I have been looking after my mum. Sadly she passed away on Monday 10th dec and her funeral was on the 19th. So I am still feeling really upset and in disbelief really that all has came to an end.

Hopefully 2008 will be a good year for everyone :huggles:

Sorry to hear of your sad news :( hope 2008 is better for all the K9-ers

So sorry to hear your news Kirsty - it must be a very sad time, which seems worse somehow at this time of year. Hope 2008 will pick up for you and bring you much happiness :huggles:

Thanks. I suppose it will take a long time to get used to her not being around anymore. I used to see her everyday as I was the one who looked after her so it will be a big void in my life, she was only 63 last month but her weight dropped to 3st 11 in the last few weeks of her life, it was awful to see her suffer so much she was in terrible pain, but never once did she complain or make a scene, she was so very brave. I suppose we take for granted that we will always have our mum's around but unfortunately not so.

So sorry to read your sad news Kirsty, I lost my Dad in the summer and have just found this first Xmas so difficult without him :(

Thinking of you x

Thanks for your kind words Darcia. I imagine Xmas must have been a big hurdle for you to get over, as you will still be feeling raw :(
