The Parish Church in our town centre is called St George The Martyr. Today they have been ringing the bells which was lovely to hear. I didn't notice many flags out our way except for the man down the road with the flagpole who was proudly flying his flag today.

Well, at least you tried. I agree - it is rather sad. It would have been nice to have seen more flags yesterday. (speaking as someone who isn't English, if I may)

Only just seen this :b . There were quite a few flags out in my village yesterday. Either hanging out of windows or just in the windows.

Nice one, didn't see many flags in our village but the co-op staff had England flag t-shirts on...courtesy of red gaffer tape :lol:
 
sorry clair.....i always used to celebrate St georges day......but this country is in tatters...and i personaly dont always feel proud to be English.....
