Hi i would just like to say HAPPY XMAS to all IG Owners & their beloved IG's & hope you all have a great New Year.

Such a shame this forum is not being used more & is under threat of being closed down

Can you invite your Italian Greyhound owning/breeding/loving friends to frequent it?

I have invited them & a few started coming for a look, then someone posted some photos of puppies & i dont know why but a Mod removed them & people got upset about it & started leaving again. I think a lot of people feel if they do put a post on they will be jumped on by certain Mods & it will be removed which has happened in the past, so its just trying to get them to see that hopefully it is different now.

I think that was removed before I came along, I also think the member complained but I reinstated the post and explained what had happened. I think someone suggested it was breaking the rules and it was advertising puppies - which it clearly wasn't.

There will be no politics going on by moderators on this board - if anyone feels it is happening despite what I have said, contact me and I will deal with it.



Please get them to come back - I am fascinated by this breed...

I often used to come on and post show results and people do look at them so there is interest there, you said in your last post

so are you the mod now Nikki ?

it would be good if people started using it again as long as they use it in a friendly way it can be good, sharing tips and ideas example what you feed your igg or favorite walk or good dog friendly holiday best place to buy igg coats plus photos etc etc just need people to start topics.

Yes it would be nice to have a variation of topics, not just all about shows but anything IG related, but genuine people with genuine posts please not people out to try & wind people up as we have had before. It would be nice to make this a friendly chatty forum for people who love their Igs

I left this forum previously after I complained about a post and was treated extremely poorly by the moderator at the time - are you the one and only moderator for IGS banana

No - I am admin and responsible for the members/moderators/threads.posts etc, I came on board around 6/8 weeks ago to run the board for Geoff who is the owner and the techy man!

Geoff does lots of other stuff so couldnt be around as much as it is needed to admin, so thats why I am here...

All mods can moderate this forum, but if there is any issue ever again (but I dont think there will be) - come to me.
