I was Secretary of the Notth East BWRA at the time this gentleman was about.
To quote from the first booklet that I wrote. "March 1978 saw the death of one of the greatest racing characters I have had the pleasure to meet.
Harry Seymour was dedicated to the sport of whippet racing and was a great force in the beginning of the BWRA and the work he did helped to
put the North of England on the whippet racing map"
I can still picture him now, he always had a story to tell and with a straight face he was always a leg puller. I should imagine Erica will remember him also as she was a solid BWRA member then.
