My dog doesn't have arthritis but in the hope of preventing problems we are using a supplement called Ageility and a bioflow magnet on his collar.

It's worth trying the bioflow collar - I've had one for years and years - worked for some dogs not others. Acupuncture that you are about to try might work for you too - helped one of my dogs recover from a cruciate injury without surgery. Nutritionally, there is a number of supplements you can try, and homeopathically I've had a lot of success with the combination of Rhus tox, Ruta graveolens and Arnica, known as RRA. Good luck with your dog's treatments.

 

I haven't used Librela but I've read some positive anecdotal evidence.

I can’t honestly say. I use it for prevention so I don’t have a base line to benchmark it, but my soon-to-be 12 year old boy has just done zoomies round the garden and launched himself off the garden wall (yes, my heart is hammering …).

There are people who swear the bracelets are transformational and others who say they made no difference; so my view was that it can’t do any harm so he may as well have it.

 

I have used a Bioflow collar through several dogs, and it definitely helped some and didn't seem to make any difference to others. You only buy it once and they don't wear out, so worth a punt, I think.
