One of the forums I usually visit has just made an option available to change the background colour of their site to a yellow colour which apparently makes reading easier?

Just wondered if anyone who is dyslexic has tried this and does it help?

I have tryed to put this on to my computer but it will not let me.

Want it says on this site is right ie if its italic i cant read it as well as if it was bold.

Alot of people are dyslexic and no one talks about it. :)

I second that, i spend ages typing in word and pasting to here :b :- "

spell checkers good for normal peoepl haveing probelms with words but there no use for disolexsics as we dont know if we can or carnt spell a word and if were given a list of words we dont know whitch one we want. the colour backgrounds do work but its doffernt colours help differnt people I have pink tinted reading glasses at home which help me but on when reading black and white

Wendy I think you do very well, and can alway's understand what you are saying  I think it does help a normal reader to know that you are dyslexic though. It certainly makes me concentrate on reading what you say a little more carefully :)

i allways stick it on my sig I think it lets peoeple know this isnt going to be the easyest messege to read so they get the opion weather they do or not. I know some days I am better then others and do try and answer post more on good days and dont do much typeing on bad ones
