Help - Nose Troubles

Can anyone help... poor Alfie seems to have something up his nose. Sunday just gone he spent a lot of time rolling about on the lawn in the sun so perhaps a blade of grass up his nose? Anyway Sunday night he was backward sneezing for ages, but Monday it had calmed down and was just like a constant snuffle, except when he lays down it doesn't seem to bother him at all, which he does a lot so that's good :b Today he's more or less the same and his nose is running slightly. Anything we can do? And also what will the Vet do as we will be taking him if it doesn't improve, how do they check up their noses? I think that's what's worrying us the most :unsure: Thank you xxx

It could be a grass seed Sarah...I definitely would have him checked at the vets because they can sometimes cause infections... :thumbsup:

He may give you some drops :thumbsup:

Right he's now booked in at 6.30 this evening, paws crossed they can sort it out :luck:

Really? We've never witnessed Kennel cough so wouldn't know we just straight away assumed foreign body up the snozz :b

we had it here a couple of years ago and there was a lot of inward sneezing and sniffles going on ,also another sign is them trying to clear something from their throats but not all of them did that,think it depends on how bad they get it,some had it milder than the others.

hopefully its just a irritation hes got ?? hope hes sorted soon :huggles:

The Vet has put Alfie on anti-biotics and anti-inflammitries (sp?) as his joints became a bit stiff as today went on. He said his initial thoughts were he has an upper-respiratory tract infection and to see how things go from there...
