Hi all,

I'm fairly new to this sport and my whippet Busta needs more practice with the traps. I trialled at Oxford a couple of weeks ago and it went well but they don't run again until August so I need somewhere else I can go. Can someone give me some ideas of other clubs where I could trial? I'm not bothered about competeing in races yet I just want Busta to get more traping practice. I live in Aylesbury and would be happy to travel up to about 2 hours or so. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Vicky

Hi Vicky

If you can make it over to Worcester this weekend, I would think it likely that they will do trials after racing. I can't say for sure, but they normally do to boost club funds. I think someone has added the postcode on here somewhere if you need it, or PM me your email address and I'll send you a map  The track is on the A44 at a place called Cotheridge.

Aylesbury to Bean 70.3 miles 1hr 23 minutes according to AA

Harvel are racing this Sunday, trials after each round of racing, therefore 3 trials if you wish.

We start at midday or thereabouts :)

PM me if you want directions or look in the clubs section for more details :)

We travel two and a half hours (sometimes) for Harvel. A lovely track well cared for and i'm sure you would enjoy the visit

South Cotswolds will be doing some puppy nights soon  :)
Starting on July 17th then on July 24th and on 31st.

Type "Tinkley Lane, Nympsfield" into www.streetmap.co.uk and It`ll give you a map.

At the bottom of the page there will be some coloured text to click to convert the grid refernce into a post code.

We`re expecting quite a few pups as well as my two older whippets, and others which need sharpening up!

Gavin
