Hi to all we have a gorgeous westie bitch called Bella and she is loved by the whole family, the problem we have is reflections & shadows, if TV is turned off and she sees herself she goes mad jumping at TV if she is out for a walk she can't go past a parked car without trying to attack it and if she sees herself in windows or her shadow she goes mad it's starting to get a bit difficult having a walk round the block so now have to walk her out in the fields any advise would help....

Things I would try would be;

Take a squeaky toy out your pocket and squeak it to distract her and keep walking so she comes with you and plays.

A rope ragger or soft toy would work the same, waggle it at her and start a game of tug until she forgets about barking and you are passed the car/window.

A clicker is what works with my boy he knows when he hears the click a treat is coming, when I am walking him and want his full attention (if another dog is coming for example) I click once and he instantly walks to heel looking at me for a treat.

If you can break the habit of her doing this by using toys or treats she will hopefully stop doing it for good :luck:
