Can someone give me some instructions on posting with coloured writing please.

Right here goes i'll try to explain but i'll probably end up confusing the both of us (w00t)

At the top of the reply page there are all those different thingys, so for coloured writing you ......

Click on the FONT first then choose a style of writing then....

Click on the SIZE and choose a size then .......

click on the COLOUR and chose a colour.....then ......

Write what you wanted to say then click on CLOSE ALL TAGS, but don't put a space in after the last word that you type

OK, there are 3 ways

1) Write what you want in your post & then select the text you want coloured (Windows - left click & drag). Then click the drop down arrow on the color box in the Code Buttons area & select your colour - you'll see the Code Button area just above the area you type your text when making a post.

2) Click the down arrow on the color box in the Code Button area. Select your colour, type your text you want coloured and then click 'Close all open tags'.

3) Add the code yourself - for example to produce red text, start with an open square bracket, then type COLOR=red then a close square bracket. Then type the text you want, then finish off by closing the tag with open square bracket, /COLOR and close square bracket.

Give it a try in a post - create a post & click on 'Preview Post' without actually posting it to see what you get 8)

but now I can use method 2!
