:( Hi to everyone out there,

A while ago I got some information on Self catering accommodation but I have now lost it or filed it somewhere never to be found again.

Well it was all about 2 self contained cottages in either the Glocester, Worcester or Cotswold area that accepted dogs.

One of the accomodations had its own pool and an attached barn with intercom system for your dogs, walled garden that lead onto open fields which was safe for your dogs to run in. They also offered dog sitting.

The other accommodation was much smaller but also allowed dogs now I think this one was called 'Pear Tree Cottage?'

Both cottages were owned by the same person.

Does anyone out there know of these cottages and if so could you let me know.

Jenny

The only place I know of that sounds like that is Little Dumpledale & Swallows Dance cottages - but they are in South Wales

Little Dumpledale

....and we're going there for our hols at Easter :teehee: (w00t) Not in one of the cottages, as they are booked up, but in a new caravan they have just brought in with it's own fenced off garden for the dogs, and use of the fields, swimming pool and hot tub.

I can't help you directly, but I do know that Dogs Trust has an arrangement with a holiday home rental agency which lists many dog friendly accommodations throughout the UK and in Ireland and France as well. If you book via Dogs Trust, the trust gets a nice commission to help it run its rescue centres.

I think there's a link for that in FAQ, plus a few other holidays "with dogs" recommendations
