Have posted into general dog related discussion (snugglebeds). It shows on the board that my post is there but when i go into the thread i cant find it. Any ideas whats happend? Thanks

Your new post (2 of them 
) went to the top of the page on page 2. I suspect you were just looking at the bottom of the first page. After 15 posts to a topic they get split and a new page started. If you're looking at the first page - at the bottom (and top) on the left you will see a link to page 2.
