I have just remembered that the pet-sitter had said yesterday that Olive had eaten a Lilli. It hasn't bothered me until now, I know the pollen can poison cats is this the same with dogs? Olive, since I got home has been really tired and I'm worried about her. Any comments welcome :(

Do you mean a lily? Ring your vet's emergency number - if there's any chance of poisoning a forum isn't the place to be seeking advice.

And move any other plants to where she can't get at them.

Okay, i am on the phone now, they said for me to go in so will keep you updated... :(

Olive was given hydrogen peroxide solution and also activated charcoal witch she hated :( but she seems a little more lively than before so that's a plus, she was sick and she really wants some treats/food now but the vet said no. The vet was so nice and helpful with her treatment, gave me some do's and some dont's. She also recommended that i get rid of all the flowers in the house just to be on the safe side, and she also said don't walk were there are lilies, and if Olive doesn't improve over night then take her in ASAP. She recommended that Olive is to only have simple basic foods such as rice and boiled chicken am i correct with this? I'm glad that I know that she shouldn't be poisoned, but there is still a risk. Tonight has been very eventful :( Thank you for everyone who commented. @doggie1 i will keep you all updated as its a worry for me too, she seems better.

Poor Olive. Harri was pretty miserable after his emergency trip to the vet when he was tiny (he found a grape that had come off the grapevine in my front garden). He bounced back very fast though once he stopped being sick.

Yes = please let us know how she gets on.

After my last post last nigh Olive was sick then every 5-10 mins so i am taking her in in about 1 hour and probably wont reply all day. Olive has continued being a little bit slow so i would like the vets to do an IV as this will make sure there isn't any harm to the kidney and liver. They may want her to stay in today. I'm so worried about her and I'm worried also about Doris as all my attention has been on Olive and not on her. I will post an update later so you can know how she is doing. Fingers crossed that she is fine and she will make a full recovery :( I also wanted to thank you all for giving help and support. Continue to leave comments i just cannot reply as i just want to sleep as i got none but you will do anything for our dogs. :(

Really hoping all is ok with Olive, bless her . She’s in the best place and fingers crossed she’ll be back home with you today x
