Recently we took a dog out of a crazy home situation. Supposingly he had to go cause he couldnt handle another dog in the household and they "tried" everything. When we arrived, we entered a household of 20m2, three kids on the couch, mom pregnant, big dog in the garden, five month old bordeaux dog pupper in a very small bench(which later turned out to be for him) and him as they told us 25% dashound 75% pug breed. The whole house was full of dried pee and they had three cats upstairs aswell.

Turned out he was fighting with the pup. After asking some question of what he ate she answered "right now? puppy kibble leftover from the pup" Needless to say he is five kilo's overweight. Also medical history she couldnt answer nothing on. So we took him out of that situation. At home we noticed he was missing a thumbnail that the previous owner "didnt notice" So we took him to vet the next day. Wish I could take them all cause without the proper guidness that bordeaux dog will be a weapon instate of a companion.

We have him for three weeks and he is doing really great. From knowning only sit and the sound of the firdge opening. He knows now down, place, stay, wait, ok, play We bought a couple of thinking games cause he really wants to work and is very active. Our guess is that has more of boxer/pug than a dashound/pug and also our vet finds him looking more like that.
Ofcourse I am on here for some help in behavior outside, seems to me he has only seen the garden and has to be socialized outside, relearn or learn dogbehavior cause we have some issues there.
Sorry for my English but I am from the Netherlands and our forums there are not that helpfull.

Oh the poor pup - well done for rescuing him! And there's no need to apologise for your English, it's fine! I'll go have a look at your other thread...
