Hi thank you for adding me I'm realy interested in a puppy but need to do a lot of research to get the right one many thanks

Welcome - some things to think about are size of dog, trainability, the exercise you realistically can give and what amount of grooming you want to do.

Hi.. Forget looks or cuteness and as @JoanneF says start noting the things you can offer a dog and the things you need from a dog.. No point getting a dog that needs hours of walking if you only have an hour a day spare, no point getting a long haired dog if you cant afford or are unable to groom it on the other hand no point getting a peke or chi if you want to hike up mountains etc..So list the things you have to offer and what it is you want from a dog and then see what breeds or type matches up.. Its possible that a rescue might be able to help you with this.

You also need to consider your finances - can you afford insurance, vet treatment, good-quality food? It's generally recommended you shouldn't leave a dog alone for more than around 4 hours, and pups will need to build up to that gradually - if your dog isn't happy being left, can you afford a dog walker/dog day care, or do you have a relative who could help out?
