I went with a mate today, to a specialist hi-fi dealer to buy a new CD player. The lucky fella had 2 grand to spend...yep 2 grand on a CD player. And, do you know what happened? He spent just over £800 on a turntable, the sound was immense, absolutely
brilliant...He said he was gonna spend the other 1200 quid on records...I tell ya the sound kicked a 1800 quid CD player into touch, it was and is beautiful, digital ain't the be and end all....
