Hi

My old girl has had a few blood related problems over the last couple of years. About 3 years ago she had a blood clot in her back leg after having a dental ( dont know if it is related but the clot happened a week after ) she was put on fortekor and aspirin. When she went for a check up recently it was discovered her blood pressure was quite high ( blood vessels behind the eyes very swollen) and was put on propranonol to help bring it down seemed to help a bit. Went for 2 month check and it seems the pressure is back up and her propranonal dose has been doubled, we are back at the vets in 2 weeks time. The vet has asked if she has fainted or presses her head against the walls or floor which she doesn't. She also trembles when stood for any amount of time, this started about the time of the clot and has spread from the back legs to the front as well, also she stumbles occasionally when walking. Some days are worse than others, mostly she is a happy sleepy 11 year old greyhound who likes dinner.

Just thought I would ask if anyone has had these problems in case the vet is looking in the wrong direction not that I dont trust him as he is brilliant with her

Can't give you any advice I'm afraid, but I hoe she gets better soon. :luck: :huggles:
