Took some time out today to do a bit of racing with my club. All you coursers and Greeny will be pleased to know that the girls namely Magic Trick (already a legend) and Lynperry Plain of Boston( cue the applause)did extremely well. The sessions on the beach paying dividends already Incidentally, Saucey Madam(no she is not for sale at any price. How many more times....!) did not attend to demonstrate her blistering pace as I have been advised to rest her until a week next Saturday. Now I wonder why that would be??? How many others are being rested?? Those from the north of England needn't respond to that question. Stick to chasing little bunnies. Now who said that??

Well thats the differance between the real dogs and the pretenders!

Chris,

to quote CCS;

"It would look to me as if a gun or two have been jumped hear as my entry form states [for 16 top coursing whippets to be decided by B.B. and A.L. ]"

Or do you have insider information ?

El Diablo wasn't rested, he was running today on ground that can only be described (understatement) as heavy.

Like I said earlier, I'm looking forward to seeing the Madam's "blistering" pace, from all you've said it sounds like a foregone conclusion. Us northern boys are really wondering whether we should waste our petrol money making the trip, but there again if she didn't win the words .... egg and face would spring to mind!

Regards,

Scott.

Scott. You've got to learn something . Never quote from a man who wears a cowboy hat and sticks badges all around its rim. Very dangerous!!

LM

Mark. We are obviously not as tough as you northern boys. We will just have to be content with huge fields and the fittest Brown Hares in the world. Now what does that add up to, I wonder??

umm having been lucky enough to be asked to be a flanker (yes Flanker with a F) at the Greyhound 2000 meeting for the Final day i've witnest the big fields and the Hares close up but regarding the hares? I didn't think they were that good maybe it's the quality of the dogs behind them thats making them look so good.

you'res without bullshit Mark

Always thought you boys down there were cowboys! Thanks for the confirmation.

Scott.

Well done Scott. I asked for that one!!

I know though that you were only joking, and realise that you have the utmost respect for us in the coursing heartlands. We thank you for that.

I have the utmost respect to anybody prepared to walk their dogs miles over rough terrain in the name of sport.

Scott.
