can any 1 remember times that there dogs have put round at highgate in the present few years

times will be alot quicker this year cos theyve shortened the trip to 250 m

YES MATE, MY RETIRED BITCH,.. UPTOWN GIRL ...HAD 3 PEOPLE CLOCK HER ON NORMAL GOING BETWEEN 15.80,AND 15.84,.AND SHE WAS 5 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS OLD 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE BWRA BEND CHAMPIONSHIPS. BUT HER BEST TRAIL WAS 15.70 ON NORMAL GOING, THE PREVIOUS YEAR. BUT THE TRACK IS SLIGHTLY SHORTER NOW, SO ARE THE TIMES. I HAVE BEING TOLD THAT THEY HAVE NOCKED 40 SPOTS OFF THE SPRINT GRADEING :thumbsup: TIME NOW.

Just out of interest where have they shortened the distance ? All I can think is that it's around the top bend as the sprint traps and the finish line are still in the same place.

have they got rid of the dip next to the rail???is the first bend any safer???? you lost the dogs round the bend the dip was so server think its changed hands over the last year lots of track improvements and stadium. hope they have sorted the above as dogs can loss there legs coming out on to the run in if they are not railers :rant:

this was the original track before outside hare was put in and track made faster

yes steve, the outside hare did make the track times quicker, about 40 spots or there abouts if i remember.

i am going on sunday morning,.. but i did remember at westy,.. that bruce belwood said that lacey venture did around the 16.10 mark last week..

Just got back from Highgate, the surface as lost that ripple effect :thumbsup: not as much dip on the inside,Large out side burger bar :thumbsup: Owners made you feel welcome and very obliging :thumbsup: £4 a trial £1 cheaper than Askern :thumbsup: Saw a yearling go all the way around for the first time with ease :thumbsup: By 10am I thought there was a whippet meeting on, you could not move for whippets some from the north east and the midlands :thumbsup:

IMO A BIG IMPROVEMENT :thumbsup: Grading Time For Greyhounds is 15.80

A vast improvement from last year, the running surface is A1 and the bends slightly banked,the clubhouse has been done out and a massive large screen TV to watch all of the race, catering for all of the racers needs and a good lick of paint makes this feel like a different stadium and the staff are very good also.

Could i please remind all racers that no dogs of any kind including pups will not be allowed into the club house. I also agree with Geoff, it was like a whippet meeting today. :cheers: :luck:
