I am planning a cottage holiday for me and my mum + the 2 whippets. I have trawled many sites and found some nice options but it's all a bit overwhelming :sweating: I wanted to ask if anyone on here has any good, dog friendly recommendations? we are quite flexible on location, but we're looking for

date: 5th of June for a weeks stay

welcomes two dogs

has some outside space

would prefer close to seaside but a location with breathtaking views for nice walks is just as good

''rural'' setting

but most importantly, with no car, something that is easily accesible by train and where we can then have a short cab ride to the location

oh and doesn't break the bank, no luxury for us :teehee:

Excuse me Ms Kupca....why aren`t you taking little popsy?

p.s just got back from racing and lil Osc did good!

how shall I put it... Popsy doesn't travel very well... you could say he's a nightmare. also we're planning on going via the southern counties show and I think Mark should have some responsibility while we're gone ;)

I was gonna ask about that! await an email!

I'd thoroughly recommend Little Dumpledale, they have four properties and a caravan all totally dog oriented and with secure gardens. We're taking all five of our dogs later in the years, they love it there.

Unfortunately as one of the few places to cater for unlimited numbers of dogs they get very booked up so not sure how lucky you'd be with the dates you want.

ETA - it probably wouldn't be ideal with no car, as they are several miles from the nearest town and shops, so you would be pretty cut off without transport.

it does look gorgeous! and it's only a ten minute ride from the closest train station. actually for our dates there is a propery available but it's just that wee bit too pricey :'(
