Hi, I am a new member here, been reccommended to this site.

I just need some help in a reputuble kennel in the Blackburn area, for my 2 labs. I need a very good place to put them as they have never been left before, and i am very anxious about leaving them both for the first time in their lives. If any body knows of anywhere that they know is good please could you forward the details 2 me. I would very much appreciate any guidance. I love my babies like my own child, so it has to be a VERY good place.

hi im in birmingham so no good for you but my advice is go and veiw all local kennels see if animals look happy have clean bedding and fresh water you will aiways get a bit of a doggie smell but you should still be able to tell the difference to a cleen kennels and the dog has just left his mark and one thats not to good on cleaning as it is never ending and also there should be times when you can look around do not enteraine any kennel you can not veiw my staff start at 8am and we open for buiness at 9am and we let people veiw from 11am till 1pm and then from 3pm till5 30 pm with exceptions if prior arangment has been made so good luck and i hope ive been some help

Hi and welcome to K9. :thumbsup:

As your dogs have never been left in kennels before, I wondered if it would be worth finding someone locally who 'boards' dogs in their own home. I have a relative who does this and the boarding dogs live in their house as part of the family (even allowed on their sofas :huggles: ). Unfortunately she is in East Sussex, so too far away from you.
