Hubby and I plus my little lurcher and whippet are off Bongoing (Translation - campervanning in a Mazda Bongo) tomorrow and aim to be in North Devon, (near Bideford ) by Monday eve. We are spending several nights there before heading to North East Dartmoor for a few nights more. Has anyone any suggestions re places to go, dog friendly pubs/restaurants /cafes etc ? It's the first major camping hol all four of us have been on (apart from a break in Northumberland, Craster this Easter) - so it's make or break!!! (for camping, not us as a family  )

Hi hope you all have a nice time,i live on the edge of Dartmoor :D I can't think of any at the moment, but i,m sure there are quite a few dog freindly pubs around.

Forgot to say if you type in DOG FREINDLY PUBS you will get all the information

Whippets and Bongo's - perfect. Have a lovely time. Dont know anywhere in North Devon, however there is a very nice camp site and pub that are dog friendly near Taunton - Somerset :- " :D
