anybody know any decent places in scotland that is fine to take multiple dogs and has secure gardens , thanks in advance

Try Wilderness Cottages. We have been to Hazelgrove a couple of times - max 3 dogs, deer proof garden. And Ordhill - max 4 dogs I think, secure garden. Both are very nice. Most of the other cottages seem to have secure gardens too - or say if they don't.

They are really good and a very efficient company. The cottages we've been to are lovely, and you always get a welcome pack including a bonio each for the dogs.

We are trying to book somewhere in the Scottish Borders near Kelso. It sleeps up to nine, has its own private island in the River Tweed and has a walled enclosed garden. Sounds brill and we got all the bumf through the post but the owner seems a little slack on getting back to us. We are (hopefully) booked in at easter.

Will Mouse be going? If she is anything like Lenny she will like the nice private island bit of it :D

Interesting thread, thanks for posting it. It is difficult to find places that will take multiple dogs. :)

my dogs would probably drown them selfs on an island (w00t)

thanks for the info though

Wauchope cottages in the borders near Kelso (I think) are very dog friendly. Gardens, outisde kennels (if required), forest commission to walk in. Lovely owners, even an outside dog shower!

And 'Eleraig' near Oban although they do not have enclosed gardens, but are down a track with their own loch and very secluded.
