i.m surprised you think the likes of tony would intentionally line holly. But then you was quick to assume folk were having a jib about your own dog last week and was wrong there too. Maybe you'd be best thinking before you post maurice.

OK JACKS, KEEP YOUR HAIR ON, PERHAPS HE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE CARE WITH HER DURING HER SEASON,

AND REGARDING MY POST LAST WEEK, WELL IT WAS BECAUSE OF A COUPLE OF PEOPLE WERE SKITTING ABOUT MY DOG, AND HOW DO YOU KNOW I WAS WRONG THEN? ...IF IT WAS YOUR DOG YOU WOULD HAVE SOON POSTED ON HERE ABOUT IT...ITS ALWAYS THE FU....G SAME . ANYWAY, HE IS STILL 25% MICKS MYSTERY.18LB.... AND IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING ELSE TO SEY, THEN BLOODY SAY IT TO MY FACE.. OR KEEP YOUR TRAPS SHUT...

She's 11 and 1/2

It's an unintentional mating. I don't know who the father is....yet.

There's more than me at this address. We had 5 bitches in season at the same time and did take care to keep them separate but no one's perfect and a mistake has happened.

We've also got 2 proven studs on the premises; Joey will line a bitch in seconds and Solo took no time at all to line a lurcher the other week so she needn't have been out of sight for long.

She's kenneled with a male normally. I took her out of that kennel after the second day of showing presuming she wouldn't be mated and conceive right at the start of her season. This may have been too late since it seems a bitch can store sperm for upto 9 days and while she didn't stand for well over a week it's feasible ( a miracle more like) she was mated on the 1st or 2nd day of her season and still conceived.

We didn't notice anything until 2 weeks ago. Had her scanned and 2 pups present. Not a big litter. She went into labour normally but one pup got stuck, she was 4 hrs with it before the C-section. We were in contact with the vet all the way through.

She's had her pups. One struggled for the first few days - possibly the one that was stuck but all seem fine now. Still early days yet though. Hollys still a fit dog and has made a good recovery from the C-section and seems to be enjoying her pups.

edited to add I knew someone would go off at the deep end so I'd prefer it public so I can answer back rather than be critised behind my back.

fair enough then tony, and good luck with the pups....maurice.

i can remember her well tony all the best with holly and the pups.

Maurice as you know I attend most opens and I think it's fair to say I hear plenty trackside. The latest 'hot topic' being the breeding of some particular 'non-peds' which had got attention through their sucess. As your own isn't currently running and bends season hasn't started off yet, I would doubt Quicksilver is up for debate yet but I'm sure your dog will gets plenty of attention if it too is succesful.

With hindsight I can appreciate your post was to try and nip gossip in the bud which is the same reason for Tony's honesty. Regardless, I don't appreciate such nasty remarks the same way as I'm sure you don't either.

Thank you for the well wishes, they are much appreciated. It's been a very stressful and upsetting fortnight for the pair of us and we've still got a way to go with what's gone on. (DNA testing and such)

I know Tony would have been devastated when he realised she was in pup considering her age and the not knowing, but it was done then. It's unfortunate that the bitch had to have a c-section but i saw her 2 days later and she was in fine form bounding about to greet us and mothering her babies just as well as she did her first litter.

The two goblin girls are obviously thriving :luck:

Mum and pups are in safe and caring hands with Tony and Jac's :luck:

obviously it was an accident as tony wud have posted when the bitch was mated and when she was due etc. imo tony has done the right thing posting after pups were born and all dogs concerned r fine. they look lovely good luck with them both :luck: :luck: :luck:

Wonder if you get your scr dog jac

good luck with the pups

lol I suppose there would be an irony there!

To be honest I'm just grateful they're not blue or black otherwise I'd be in the doghouse right now! :sweating:

The pups are stunning and holly looks and is doing fantastic (i had the pleasure of having some puppy moments this weekend)...if i was'nt up to 3 dogs i would have had one.

Holly behaves no differently with this litter of pups than she did with her first litter :luck: luckily sasha & sophia (as my kids are called them lol) will continue to grow & thrive...it'll be very interesting to find out who the dad is :- " (my moneys on solo)
