2012 season started today - glorious spring weather, and some competitive though largely fun racing.
Karen & Mick Mahoney announced on arrival that they had purchased a home in Southern Ireland, and would be moving imminently.
For the club this is a blow, because Mick has been Racing Manager since inception, and Karen has done just about everything else!
Karen & Mick were thanked for all of their hard work in getting the club up and running. Meanwhile the members have to think about how Mick as Racing Manager can be replaced -with two Opens planned for this season there cannot be any delay.
So......If a currently 'resting' Racing Manager is considering making a return, or perhaps someone who might wish to become a Racing Manager for the first time this could be the ideal opportunity.
