copied this off a rescue site in the midlands.ill try to find out when theyre due to appear in court as theyre asking for animal lovers to try to go on the day to show their disgust at what these men have done.they dont have to attend the pre trial review on the 26th but they will have to attend the trial itself so when i know a date ill post it.if anyone who lives in that area would like to show their support by attending please do so and please cross post this if you can.these guys need to know that what they did isnt funny.

ALEX LISTER OF OLINTHUS AVE,ANTHONY HINSLEY OF ECCLESTONE ROAD AND MATTHEW CORFIELD OF HIGGS ROAD,ALL WEDNESFIELD,WOLVERHAMPTON, ARE TO BE SENTENCED FOR ATTACKING A 19 YEAR OLD MARE.THE ANIMAL HAD CUTS TO THE LEG,A SEVERED ACHILLES AND A SMASHED FRONT LEG,IT WAS ATTACKED WITH STICKS,STONES AND A BLADE,THE 3 ARE TO RE APPEAR AT CANNOCK MAGISTRATES COURT,THEY WILL GET EITHER 51 WEEKS IN PRISON,£20,OOO FINE(OR BOTH!).THE MARE WAS PUT TO SLEEP BECAUSE OF ITS INJURIES!IN TONIGHTS EXPRESS AND STAR NEWSPAPER, WOLVERHAMPTON. PLEASE BULLETIN,THANKS!

THERES A PRE-TRIAL REVIEW WITHOUT THEM BEING THERE ON THE 26TH NOVEMBER!THERES BEEN A LOT OF OUTRAGE,THERE HAD TO BE EXTRA SEATS IN COURT FOR THE ANIMAL OWNERS AND ANIMAL LOVERS ALONE!TV COVERAGE HAS BEEN NON EXISTANT!THANKS FOR RE-MAILING

Unfortunately we had these sort of attacks over here about 10/12 yrs ago...there were a gang of "youths" going around stable yards (private and livery) and fields and pouring glue over the horses and slashing them open underneath their bellies and also severing the achilles as well as stabbing them with screwdrivers! Most of the horses and ponies in question had to be PTS as a result of their injuries,the whole thing was sickening and bears an uncanny resemblence to what is written above! :rant: :rant: :rant:

I am sorry but as a life-time horse owner I could not for the life of me bring myself to go to court (even if it was feasible) and look those ******* in the face without wanting to seriously harm them (I just could'nt trust myself not to get arrested!).......51 WEEKS INSIDE!! is just laughable,for the amount of pain and suffering that they have caused to the mare and her owners...it is an outrage! The only way I'd want to go to court and see them is with a can of petrol and a lighter!!!!! And even that would be too fast for them! :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:
