I had the pleasure of meeting Monty today (and Alison & OH very briefly ). He has the most beautiful, expressive face...I quite fell in love with him and wanted to take him home. :wub:

I would have liked to have stayed and watched the rest of the AV hound classes (wish they'd been on before the AV gundogs -_- ) but I was tasked with meeting my brother and 2 little nephews back at Coventry Pizza Hut for 1200 hrs sharp. Made it with two mins to spare :sweating:

As an aside, the organisers were very short of catalogues and ran out by mid morning. Two ladies approached me as i was sitting on a bench minding my own business (watching the basenji's :b ) and asked me for their particular breed pages. I willingly handed my catalogue over and invited them to tear out the relavant pages, and they insisted on giving me a donation! I should have hung around a bit longer...it could have been a profitable day :b

We were on the overnight ferry from Belfast to Birkenhead ..... which was delayed for over 2 hours due to bad weather . and when we finally got into the show (after having to walk from the furthest car park away that they could have put us in, through muddy puddles and pouring rain :rant: ) I arrived puffing and panting at the ring as BEST DOG was being declared :angry: ....I had Renoir entered in the POST GRAD DOG Class!!! :b :rant: ...after all our travelling we'd missed the class by perhaps only 5 minutes :b :angry:

Would have loved to have got to have got to say hello and meet you all but then had to race to see Bramble being shown in the border terrier ring. :wacko: :blink: all this charging about can't be good for me :blink:

Well done to all who were placed :thumbsup: ....wish I'd had the chance to be!!!!
