I haven't posted in ages - but have been watching the forum from afar!
Hope everyone is ok
My 2 whippets have lovely lightweight leather shoe string type house collars from hide and collars. However naughty Dylan has chewed through 2 of Barneys collars. I was about to order another on line when the usual Internet posts pop up about dangers of house collars due to rough play, catching them on things. I'm someone who doesn't need much to make me fret!!
I saw a collar called a breakaway collar - which although not half as lovely looking as current collars, seem a safe option for dogs who do indeed play rough.
Has anyone used them?
(ps id rather not use house collars at all but others in the household aren't as vigilant as me about doors etc)
