Does anyone know how many greyhound tracks there are in Ireland?

Thanks.

HUNDREDS OF LIARS THO ................ (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

Ballyskeagh Clonmel Cork Derry Dundalk

Dungannon Enniscorthy Galway Harold's Cross Kilkenny

Lifford Limerick Longford Mullingar Newbridge

Shelbourne Park Thurles Tralee Waterford Youghal

hows that babs?

:luck:

Thanks Skippy.

The reason that I've been asking is that I've just been quoted 20,000 ex racers are leaving Ireland every year for pet homes.

I'm thinking that that is a very inflated number.

Does anyone knwo how to pronounce "thurles"? is it thur-less ot thur-ruls?

Sam

wow john didnt knw u all dem traks. I dnt even knw dem all n i b in lifford every weekend n derry during the week! n yea u pronounce in thur-les!! simple as dat! lol!! ;)

living not too far from Thurles, I have asked people the same thing about pronunciation...

I was told the Th is pronounced somewhere between a T and a Th sound.

And with that in mind, it is pronounced THUR less

20,000 leaving for pet homes every year? Being involved in greyhound rescue myself, I find that number impossible.
