Having been out of the whippet game for over 20 years and never seen the non-peds race. I was wondering, pound for pound how much faster would the non-peds be against the peds ? I`m sure this will lead to some arguements, as I`m sure a good ped would beat a poor non-ped !

Regards.

I was told that a really good ped does beat a non ped, but i wouldn't really know if this was true :)

:p as far as i am aware a non ped is faster than a ped maybe someone shud put times on here of a ped say of 25lb and someone will put the time of a non ped of the same weight over 150 yds and then we shall see lol :clown:

At our club last week a 30lb ped dog did 9.13 and a 30lb non ped 8.49, so the difference is 10 1/2yd.

That particular ped is faster than some of the slower lighter club dogs, but not the average same weight ones.
