Hi all

I currently eat a mixture of meat and biscuits.

Can anyone please give me a guide of how many grammes in total you should feed an 11 month old?

I know they will stop when full but a guide would be great....thanks all

When you say meat and biscuits do you mean raw meat (mince, tripe etc?) or tinned?

At that age my boys were getting roughly 650g of mince or tripe with a couple of handfuls of wholemeal mixer split into two meals. They would also get two or three chicken wings, eggs, sardines etc a few times a week on top of this.

I have never weighed my dogs food! If they eat well and look good I am happy. I can give you a rough guide from what I feed mine. They have a beaker of complete feed and four big table spoons of meat, that could be green tripe, raw mince, chicken wings about four, frozen then thawed out and fed raw.

Hope that helps.

I don't weigh out either Anne, I know they get a bag and a half of meat each - so just had a look how much a bag was. I also don't work very well in grams!! :clown:

As you say how they look is the best guide to if they are getting too little or too much.

I don't weigh it either, I feed dry with tripe a few times a week and chicken wings for Popsy (Eskil turned his nose up on raw chicken), and I just give them as much as they want, they're not fat and look great so it works fine for us that way :)
