HOW MUCH FOOD WOULD YOU EXPECT AN 17/18LB WHIPPET TO EAT

My 16/17lb's get 3oz of meal, meat for breakfast. 1 weetabix plus a handfull of meal for there dinner.

u generally quater their weight so an 18lber half wud be nine oz so quater wud be about 3 or 4 oz with cereal 4 breakfast.

:D Robbie is 18lbs and I fed him as much as he wanted  . I could not do that with Ricky as he would have run with the no limits   .

Im now doing the same with Gizmo,,he gets as much as he wants too :- " , but still a but under weight

it is good having a no limit lol nikki my 8 month old 43lb now :D its murder having these little ones and watching their weight all the time.

If your name's Cara you aim to eat as much as a St Bernard.

NOT USED TO HAVING LITTLE,NS ,SO NO IDEA HOW MUCH SHE SHOULD BE EATING,SO WOULD JUST A FEW OZ BE ENOUGH,IVE BEEN GIVING 6OZ BUT SHE NEVER EATS IT ALL,WHICH BUGS ME,MAYBE IM JUST FRRDING TOO MUCH EY

THESE LITTLE ENS ARE FRIGGIN NIGHTMARE (w00t)

I never weigh the dogs food. Robbie gets almost the same as Ricky, just a 1/4 mug different  Rob is 18 and Ricky 23. Gizmo gets a lot more than Ricky does and still under weight, 20lb 5oz :( , but he's getting extra at night, so I hope he puts more on. Its murder having fussy eaters   .

Let the dog eat, run it, and let it find the right racing weight  ,,,unless its like Ricky , then be careful, or your little dog will run in the piggy race

5lb raw beef daily you`ll ay a no limit in no time

u prob r giving her a little too much, is she a pup or an adult? if she is a pup maybe feed her small bits & often.

:( If shes /he is fussy,,let it eat as much as it wants  ,,,they find thier weight in time :D .

Come on Neil..Who is he/she and what's the breeding ?

My little ones get 1 weetabix with warm milk morning

Mug full of meal , veg fish or meat for dinner

cookie and milk supper

but they are good eaters

We have 4 pups Neil, 2 have just started racing the other 2 are starting to trial. Thay all get cereal and milk in the morning or scrambed eggs. Dinner meat , biscuit and veg, evening meal meat or fish with rice or pasta and dog meal, at bed time warm milk and a dog treat. Thay eat as much as thay want. Thay are all big eaters. Smallest is 16lb he gets the same amount as the biggest who is 23lb. Dont worry he/she will eat what thay need.
