HOW TO COMPLAIN ABOUT A POST

Please direct complaints to the moderator of the forum which contains the post you are complaining about.

1. If you want to complain about a post please use the '! Report' button at the bottom of the post. This means that the moderator will be able to find the post you are complaining about. There are sometimes 1000+ new posts on K9 every day so the moderators are unable to read them all. If a post is not reported then it will probably not be moderated. Please report the post to one moderator only. Reporting to multiple moderators only results in confusion and wasted time for the moderators.

2. Quote the exact words you feel break the board rules rather than just indicating the whole post.

3. Say which rule you think has been broken and how. You will find these by clicking 'Rules & Disclaimer' at the top of the page and 'Posting Rules' at the top of each forum index. If you find that no rule has been broken but you are still unhappy then please say exactly what you're unhappy about and suggest exactly how the rules might be changed.

4. Please give the moderators time to respond. Remember they may be busy so it may be a while before they see your complaint.

5. If you disagree with the moderators decision then contact that moderator privately by email or PM. Do not post publicly on the board as this is against board rules and will result in a warn.

6. If you feel that it is unfair that one post has been removed but not another then please remember that this does not mean that the moderator is biased but is probably because the other post was not reported.

7. Whether a rule has been broken or not is the decision of the moderator who will decide guided by what they feel is a normal standard of behaviour. We understand that this may not be the same for every one and hope you do too.
