A big thank you to all the hunting lads who are trying to raise the £1800 needed for Kieren to take part in the WTKA world karate championships later this year in Italy.

We found out yesterday that Kieren has been picked to represent his club/country at the chapionships but on the down side we have to cover his expenses which amount to £1800 for the week long comptition.

within 30 minutes of posting on the "THE POACHERS REST"? web site the admin "shaimless had set up a fund for the members to donnate into to help us raise the funds needed but on top of that they also posted them on several other sites asking members to help.

this just goes to show how the hunting community can pull together to help 1 of their own.

hopefully we will raise the money needed to ensure he represents his Country at the Championships in Italy.

Our Ben does kickboxing and was hoping to take part in the british championpships to qualify to fight in the next olympics. Unfortuneatley he missed the competion as we couldn't get him there. His coach has qualified for a place on the team.

I think is awfull that so many sports are now sponsored but those competing in martial arts have to fund their own expenses to represent their country at these competitions

unfortunatly thats the case with martial arts maye if karate gets accepted on the olympics things will change till then many who should be compeating will miss out..

we got the letter yesterday inviting him to compeat but then got the bomb shell of the expenses we had to find.

unfortunatly not he can only show his clubs logo. (but could go on his facebook page.)

But he'd look great with a tattoo LOL.
