I know it's a bit late now but local papers generally publish the dates of hunts etc. I'm affraid due to obvous reasons members on this forum will not give out this sort of information publicly.

If you were a genuine pro hunt supporter you would know your local hunt dates/ times and venues or at least know someone who knew them.

There may well be a reason for you not knowing and if so please accept my apology for the prevous statement.

However due to the present climate with our hunting we cannot be too carefull.

You never mentioned an area in your question thats what made me slightly concerned.

I went to my local hunt meet today (boxing day) and had a fantastic time i only saw them off as i'm really busy over the break. My whippets enjoyed the attention and it's really helped tilly socialising.

Smiffie, did you get my message on the whippet coursing forum? You could have tried the Pennine in Holmfirth , they are a foot pack , they used to have a joint meet on New Years Day with the Holme Valley Beagles.

We went to our local hunt this morning, the Pendle Forest and Craven, great turn out .

mally only went to the waterloo cup last year as it was being banned and always said i would see it.it was 1 of the best things ive ever seen and only wish i done it before.i got a lot of info of folk on this web site regards where when andwhat to do so i asumed the same would of applied regarding hunts.i am not from a hunting back ground and don,t live in a rural setting so it,s a bit tricky to break in to the hunting circle.i was lucky enough to have met up with nigelmcfc and he let me join hin on a couple of mouchs with his dogs which has only served to increase my intrest on the subject of working dogs.i cant get my own as i have 2 bullmastiffs who are a little spicey with other dogs and a don,t think the youngest dog would take to 1.i think i,m the only barbers in stockport with more copies of shooting times than fhm.my customers will find it funny to hear i was thought of as an anti as im poss the most pro person who,s never actually hunted. and i will bore them all with this tail :- " have done a fair bit of air rifle hunting on 1 customers farm in the past but the land got sold a while back.this reply is a little late as after i left my inquiry i couidn,t get back on to k9 don,t know why...i can see why people are worried about giving out info but this does make it all the harder to show your support.most of the local papers round hear don,t mention hunts or it is after the event.i even have a BO**OCKS TO BLAIR sign in my motor which receves a lot of positve attention  this subject must mean a lot to me as i type with 1 finger and it,s taken me bloody ages to type this.the lack of area on the origanal post was due to ether too much crimbo booze or me thinking you should all know where i live  i feel better now.nigel i did get your message but i didn,t fancy driving round looking all over the show with all the family saying i thought you knew where we were going  in convoy.anyway i,ll try harder next year and start looking sooner.i work sat,s and in the week which is when i belive most hunts go out which makes it harder.speak soon nigel .
