Had thought that Pixies reaction after a lot of swimming was hypothermia...violent shaking and staggering a bit aimlessly, but now thinking about it, wonder if it is Hypoglycaemia as she begins to graze frantically afterwards and chew up sticks...

...anyone any experience?

Clair it does actually sound like EIH otherwise known as Exercise Induced Hypothermia (or could be hyperthermia). There's a lot of info on it starting to come out and while it's not overly common in whippets it seems it's not uncommon either. There was a call on Whippet World about a year ago for blood samples for a study being done on it. Pm me through FB if you don't have the whippet world board addy (it's .net rather than .com and you can search the board).
