Two of our dogs, Piper 7 months and Dorcas 3 years have been quite badly injured running in their favourite playground. Piper has cut her leg, didnt look too bad at first but is deep and has damaged a tendon, no exercise for weeks if not months. Dorcas has badly cut a front paw slicing off the pad and exposing a tendon, now on three different a

Antibiotics. She is also not allowed exercise and it is still possible that she could lose the toe. All because somebody dumped a load of heavy glass .

Thank heavens for insurance, bill well over £2500 so far between them.    Jennifer and Tony

I know, they dont think of the consequences ..not just to dogs but to children as well

Give Dorca some black pudding, bout 1" thick slice 1/2 in morning n 1/2 in evening wit meals..not cooked and it will help it to heal. Dont ask me how it works but it does, my pup just sliced his paw quite badly and it is pretty much sorted now

Hope they both heal up quickly with no complications :luck: :))

What a bummer .Hope they make 100% recoveries

Ive changed where I exercise my gang now , They used to take stolen cars and burn them out .into the local woods/ (w00t) you can imagine all the glass etc left behind , I always had a carrier bag with me to pick up any glass ,easy enough to see when freshly burnt ground , but when the grass grew it was a nightmare>

Although to be honest they have put bollards to stop cars going into the woods at last
