Im so very sorry, Parker was such a fighter wasnt he....thinking of you all...

So sorry to hear the news of Parker. :'( I loved following his story on here and seeing his pictures - he was lovely. :wub: He did so well to keep going for so long with all his problems, and I'm sure it was all your love and care for him that helped him carry on. He'll be greatly missed. :(

You did all you could but it was time for Parker to go, but he will never be far from you, only a breath away.

Sorry to hear your brave little man has lost his fight. I know how hard you tried to do everything for him, and how special he was to you. You gave him a wonderful life.

Thanks so much for the kind words.

At the moment I am inconsolable and cannot beleive the little guy has gone, the house is completely dead without him.All the activity and noise was Parker,he was the centre of the family..all plans etc were made around him and his needs and I am completely unable to express the complete feeling of loss of my constant shadow.

Right now memories aren't enough and I keep asking myself if I did enough for him and whether I made the decision to put him to sleep too hastily.

He died in my arms and I told him I loved him. I got through yesterday ok but I've just fallen apart this morning...he was only six.

You loved him with all your heart, thus the reason you are questioning yourself about doing the right thing :( You knew him more than anyone and didn't want to see him suffer anymore and made that final brave decision :huggles: It is so sad that he was still such a young boy and that's another reason why it will be so difficult to come to terms with.

Only us pet lovers know how utterly heartwrenching it is to lose them, as they bring so much love and joy into our lives.

I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

I always had a soft spot for Parker and remember you was thinking it would be his last Christmas 3 years ago. I know it's no consolation but take comfort in the fact he got those extra years through the loving care you doted on him. :huggles: He was a handsome fella with the most soulful eyes :wub:

Thinking of you at this sad time and hope that your sadness will be replaced with fond memories with time. :huggles:
