There are a few road works around the centre of the village, please allow yourself an extra 1/4 of an hour to the weigh in time, thanks.

am i right in thinking theres no weight classes as such? its just all in up to 32lb? so say a 16lber cud b in with a 32lber?

Yes you are correct in your thinking, but the handicap at 2 foot per lb makes for the bigger dogs and the smaller dogs finishing almost together.

Its an old chestnut Carol that people with smaller dogs wont run against bigger dogs because they may be run into at the end, when was the last time you saw the littler dogs pulling out of a final for this excuse, i have only seen little dogs pulled out because of an injury never because they may be injured.

Its the same with the scratch racing Carol, i have heard it said that as a 36 lb dog i wont race with the no limits, but they will always unless injured contest the scratch final, so why not put them all in together at the start and pay heat wins and winner takes all.

Back in the good old days ( if people can remember) there wern't many predictable weight class events, it was always all in and on the draw, means you aint racing against the same dogs week in week out, but at the end of the day no one is forced to race there animals, if they dont like the conditions of the race meeting, dont attend the race meeting.

hi Steve sorry you wont be joining john and myself scoffing the yorkshire puddings

we were trying to persude her in dooors to do us a apple pie to go with it

never mind I'll save yours

I think they have removed the skip now so no rich pickings

Cheers Skippy will cancel the double cream for a later date hope the Yorkshires are up to scratch hope to be ready to race by end of month and looking forward to some gradely company---see you both soon i hope and thank the good lady once again for past pleasures !!!!!WoooooooooooooooooooooW !!!! like that eh?

Steve

Conditions should be just perfect after all the rain we had whilst racing at the Blidworth track last night, sand pit finish also so shouldn't have any stopper problems. A good menu of food available at the pub,( already booked mine and our Gerts dinner). Come and enjoy a good days racing with good company and at least two races available for each dog. :luck:

The A614 Ollerton to Nottingham road is unaffected by the roadworks in the village, only routes that take you to the track via the centre of the village are affected by the road works, detour boards and alternative routes are well signposted. Weigh in up to 12-00 noon.
