on my way to the park yesterday with dana i happened to notice a small spanial cross that dana knows running down the main road dodging traffic with its frantic owner running after it. it got to the small park leading on to the big park a few mins ahead of us and as his owner was just chasing it i started to walk paraell to it with dana. when alfie saw dana he came over to have a sniff, now he might like dogs but generally he hates people and will bite them if they try to touch him.

so i was just talking calmly to him as his owner made her way over to get him, then a huge firework went off startleing both dogs. luckly i always keep dana on her lead when we r close to bonfire night so she couldnt run off but alfie made to bolt across the dual carridge way to the big park, luckily i managed to get 2 fingers into his collar twist it into a choke hold and ram his head into the ground before he could savage me (w00t)

now dana seeing him having a doo at me decided to try to eat him so ive ended up with my walking stick gripped between my knees bent over with my rather large backside in the air holding 2 dogs with their heads rammed into the ground trying my best not to get bit by one and stopping the other from attacking it (w00t) it was a sight to see i can tell u (w00t)

turns out when alfie's mum got to us that a firework had spooked him when she was letting him out of the car and he had just bolted! poor little bugger :(

ive gotta say though she didnt help the fact running after him wailing like a bloody banshee, it just scared him more.

well alls well that ends well i suppose....at least he will have a reason for going for me now

:huggles: good on you for helping hun ,not alot of people would do that knowing thers a chance you may get bitten ,lucky little dog

bL***Y FIREWORKS  Good for you Dana you'd better put shin pads on next time you meet Alfie as he might take it out on your shins

cheers guys, ive gotta say i do feel very smug with myself 8)

Bloody fireworks!!! Well done u :)

good on ya Em!think youve been a hero today hun. :huggles: that dog owes its life to you cos i know the road youre on about and its lethal.theres a speed limit there but everyone speeds on that dual carriageway.its the one near sherdley isnt it?i wont take razzle out at night as at the moment its like beirut here with all the rockets going off shed be terrified and run off and who knows what might happen id sooner not take the risk.shes in season at the moment anyway so a few nights indoors wont hurt her.if it was me catching that dog and it had a go at me i know razz would attack it to protect me cos thats what shes like!so i can see where youd be struggling. a mad dog in each hand, fireworks, a crazy owner screeching like a banshee and losing your walking stick too :sweating: crikey go sit down and have a drink love you deserve it!

thats the one kris between sherdley and sutton parks, they r totally mental on there.

as for the drink i have had several care of our very own rouge trader (w00t) bob brough me a nice bottle of red wine round as a thanks for using his roofing company even though he has had soooooo much bad press at the mo.....and for dropping a slate through our bedroom ceiling (w00t)
