A very cold day for this event, what on earth is happening to the weather.

A total of 74 dogs took part, I must mention the ones who travelled so far to support this event. RICKY and CRYSTAL, BERT znd FRAN, Paul (Little Rascal )

and quite a few more. I apologise for not knowing all your names but your support does not go unnoticed.

The track at Thurrock was in supberb condition, and many thanks to those club members who helped. Pauline & Lorraine judged all day even though it was bitterley cold. Jimmy and Dave on the traps, and of course the ladies who did the refreshments, they couldn't fill the teapots quick enough there was such a demand

Some exciting racing and very worthy winners, once again thanks to all those who travelled to this southern club.

Doreen (BWRA SEC )

 well done to all the winners

Well done all who raced and also those who worked.

well done everyone sounds like a good day apart from the weather? we had the same @ newton aycliffe yesterday like a day in dec it was brrrr lol

well done to all the winners specialy tony and sues one cushti star good to see him back on top form

Some excellent racing at the IBM/Grasscutter open, nice to see Sue and Tony's One's Cushti's Star back to top form got better every race, hope the toe injury Polysaurus picked up on her toe is not to serious as this bitch is running exceptionally well and it's a shame she could not take part in the overall final. Also looks like What Now is coming back into form.

The track is always good but I think yesterday with the drop of rain we have had made it spot on. It is also a terrific galloping track for the dogs to run on.

All though the weather was cold we had no rain to contend with we only had a few heavy showers on Saturday evening.

Our next open is the SO WHAT on the 4 June.

Regards

Sheila

well done to all the winning dogs hope they come on injury free(we done TRICKY and HELLBENT)

well done ricky and zimba and well done chris with buster, wish i could have been there

debbie

Well done to all winners/competitors! :D

Would have liked to have attended this open but unfortunately you can't always

'do them all' for one reason or another-maybe another time...

We do more than our fair share of travelling to opens ....2/3 hours everytime we set out-with 4/5 entries

Glad it went well for you Doreen/team.
