Hi,

Has anyone used ibuprofen gel on thier dog's joints and if so, have they had any problems.

i know lizzib pup recently pinched some ibuprofen tabs ,it nearly killed itself (w00t) was on drips at the vets is still due to have blood tests for kidney function ,cost her over £500 in vets bills ,lol i wouldnt risk it

Yes I have. I use it as part of a muscle treatment program as advised by the vet that I go to with my dogs racing injuries. It is used it to break down scar tissue that has formed in the torn muscle. It has to be 10% Ibuprofen gel.
