Have you ever traveled with your dog and found it a struggle to find the ideal hotel or BnB?

Or have you ever booked a pet-friendly hotel only to find out it has nothing inside to keep your dog happy, comfortable and entertained?

We're launching a new holiday-room booking platform that will allow you to search for and book your next holiday room or house in a truly pet-friendly location.

Hosted by people who own pets themselves or have experience with what it takes to keep a pet happy in a new location, your private room or entire house will come with all the amenities you need to keep your dog happy (from treats, dog beds, bowls etc).

Would love to hear what you think of the idea and would be truly grateful if you could compete the poll so we can build the ideal platform for you.

I think the accommodation needs all mod-cons for a dog, or at least have them available in case they can't be carried on the trip (I'm thinking of things like a bed, blankets, toys and so on). One think I'd like to see is an establishment where I can eat and my dog can join me. They do exist, but often you have to sit in another area or the dog isn't allowed to accompany you, meaning it has to stay in an unfamiliar room. I understand why this is done - food hygiene rules - and it may be that's just the way it is.

@arealhuman, the food hygiene rules are just an excuse some places use - as long as your dog isn't in the kitchen. Have a look at www.doggiepubs.org.uk You can put in an area and it comes up with dog friendly places and ranks the food from basic through to posh. It's quite comprehensive.

A friend of mine runs your ideal B&B @arealhuman. Dogs sleep in your bedroom and are allowed in the breakfast/dining room. I think the food hygiene rules only actually require dogs to be kept out of food preparation areas. Certainly plenty of pubs I know are quite happy to allow you to eat with your pet. Harri is quite familiar with a lot of them ( well socialisation is so very important isn't it :D)
