Just got back from 10 fabulous days in Scotland. We just took two girls as our eldest son came back from Uni to "dog-sit" the eldest four. That meant we got a lovely break as we haven't had a holiday for a couple of years. We stayed on a quiet ( secret LOL) site with just our dogs and 4 lovely Visla's there. No barking at 5am, wonderful. Its about the first time I haven't wanted to come home, roll on retirement!

We stayed near to Kelso on a small private site. Heaven, no yapping in the morning. I did take a few pix so I'll have a sort through them.

Although we live in Scotland, we are off for a Scottish break next week down in Galloway.

Son is also taking time out to look after the 'oldies' who HATE the car.

It will be heaven to get away. Just hope that Toddy is not car sick in my husbands new car

We did the same this year ... left the dachshunds with the boys and just took the two whippets to Suffolk with us ... it's definitely so much easier holidaying with just two dogs when you know the others are happy at home. Glad you had a good time Juley.
