All my lot were rescues, ferrets are rather wonderful! We've had 6 over the last 14 years(not all at the same time!). All indoors and all thoroughly spoilt❤️. I've just decided to have a break from adopting after losing my last boy Goose...Maybe next year I'll think again.

We used to have ferrets that we used for rabbiting but we never had a single one that we made a pet of.
We did over the years have a couple of litters, they were great fun especially when the babies were getting mobile and learning about life, if you put your hand with them and wiggled your fingers in with them, then take your hand out and there was quiet often a baby ferret dangling from every finger. Not painful they were just learning !

Our ferrets were fed on raw Quail heads. I worked on a Quail farm that supplied the London market every week with fresh oven ready Quail that we processed. I brought home the heads for the ferrets and fresh raw necks for the dogs although it didn't bother either which parts they had .
