Sorry to hear that your Tess is ill.

I would suggest that you contact Louise Tope (Dewerstone) she's had a dog with this problem.

Thanks i will find i out in the next hour if its tumour based but her eyes have gone yellow which means her body is still breaking down but at least i will get to speak to the vet about options its hard but i will not allow her to suffer.

Wishing you good luck and healing thoughts for Tess

well she is fighting its not tumour based but she has started responding to the steriods in the correct time frame getting to visit her tomorrow and have a good chat with the vet treating her please keep praying for my old rescue

Thats brilliant news, keep positive and she is responding so thats a great start. Will keep sending the healing thoughts, keep us posted and hugs to Tess

Well tess has stopped responding to treatment so i have sent her to dick vet in edinburgh they have noticed low potasium and unless her blood count drops to 20 they wont give her a blood transfusion, what they have found is a chance that this disease is caused by weils disease which could also be why she is so jaundiced but late today should give us correct answers

Hope they get to the bottom of it soon, very best of luck, thinking of you :luck:
