Sorry for the extended downtime.
The hosting company in the States that ran the K9 server went into liquidation - consequently the server 'dissapeared' without warning. The UK company that I deal with have put together alternative hosting which is now hosting K9.
The UK company assured me they take daily backups of the server and that they had a backup of all the posts, registrations etc up to the point of the server demise. However, when it actually came to it that wasn't the case and the last backup they could provide was January 2002. I myself took occasional backups of some of the more important information and have restored from those backups - they were dated March 9.
The consequence of this is:
All posts made since March 9 are lost - Please repost if you feel the need
All registrations or changes in registration details made since March 9 are lost - Please re-register, make registration changes again or email me with details & I'll try to sort out the problem
File attachments (pictures, Word documents etc) included within posts since mid Feb are lost - If you want to send me any attachments that are missing I will try and 'attach' them again
Club forum pages are not restored yet I will have to set these pages up again over the next couple of days. When the pages are set up could I ask the Moderators of those pages to post their club information again. Sorry about the extra work.
There are bound to be other small glitches - please email me nigel@k9community.co.uk if you have any problems or see anything that isn't right.
Again, apologies for the disruption and thank you for your continued support. Let's hope we see some stability return to K9 over the coming months and I can then find the time to add the additional content.
