The BWRA North East Harry Seymour open at the rising sun has been cancelled for tomorrow. We have been up to the track tonight and at least 35 yds of the middle of the track is flooded under 4 inches of water (rob said 6 but he's a man) and both the finishing line and the trap areas are flooded too. After discussion with the BWRA and the clubs committee we took the hard decision to cancel. Hopefully people understand. Please could you let people know who aren't on the internet. Thanks, chris.

@ the mo theres no other tracks in the north east area even bigges maine is closed now. silver lining 4 me though means il b able to race nikki lol still gutted though coz was looking forward 2 it.

It's stopped raining so can't see any problems with Dawdon. Going up later to have a look. the only bit that seems to flood now is the top since the new factory was built. The only problem we may have is no cars parking on the field along side the track. I'm not supposed to have any cars at all on the grass but the council turn a blind eye when its dry but I've been told if it's wet then I must fence the field off.

We were up at the track at 9 ish to meet people who hadnt got the message and the track is now a complete swimming pool even tho the sun is shining and the wind blowing. Even footie looked to be cancelled. Apols to anyonelse that might turn up, but between us all at the sun we had hoped to cover all possibilities.

Robs 7 pies are still in the van, so will be eating corned beef pie all week

well was bored this afternoon so went to brough park which is now newcastle greyhounds anyway free 2 get in racing from 2.30pm till 6.15pm we didnt stay all day though but anyway i won £16.00 so all in all a canny day lol
