I bought Shera in partnership with some others when she was 12 weeks old. She was always mine though and I used to visit her in kennels as often as I could and always walked her on a sunday. In fact she would not eat on a sunday until I had been. Unfortunately when she trialed on at Oxford as a puppy she turned her head  so she came home
And thats where she stayed until she passed over a couple of years ago.
She was a once in life time dog who will never be replaced , she was so special.
I still miss her to this day. She passed over together with her special friend Merlin the Lurcher on the same day. Two old gits who lived together and decided it was their time to go together.
I haven't had the heart to get another Greyhound although I have been to the kennels several times to look but I think the problem is I am still looking for her.
Shera and Merlin gone but certainly not forgottan
